Feeding the Tarantula!
Feylin is away in Cape Town for 3 weeks so my job of course is to look after her pets, one of which is a rather large Chilean Rose tarantula called Socks.
Well, I spent over an hour trying to make a defrosted pinky look alive and she struck 3 times but every time it happened I got such a fright that I would jerk it away from her!!!
I gave up eventually, hoping she would find it during the night, but no luck! And this morning she was more interested in the SHORT tweezers I was using!
I have now organized some LIVE prey! Ew!!!
